Construction is nearly ready to get underway on the clean up and first phase of restoration of the building.
Last week the team that is taking on this task; Chesterfield Assoc, Envirovantage and Preservation Timber Framing Company visited Wood Island Station with the project architect (Dave Douglass) and the project manager (Butch Ricci).
Last measurements and plenty of poking and prodding took place. The final documents are all being worked out and should be completed and signed any day.
The building has had the brush around it cleared by Piscataqua Landscaping over a month ago at no charge. Thanks guys!
