The Station is accessible by boat only. Visitors can purchase tickets for daily tours through:

Please note: All ticketing, cancellations, and refunds are handled directly through the boat companies.

Coastal Maine weather can change quickly, even during the summer months. Visitors should expect:

▪ Occasional fog, especially near the water
▪ Strong sun exposure on clear days
It’s best to dress in layers and be prepared for shifting conditions.

The island and the first floor of the station are accessible for visitors with mobility challenges.

We recommend bringing:

We do not allow eating inside the museum. Outside on the grounds or porch is fine
Wildlife awareness: Nesting ducks are present in May and June—please be respectful and keep your distance
